1. Overview

At Akshar Aroma, your satisfaction is important to us. We endeavour to ensure you receive the highest quality perfumes and a smooth shopping experience.
This Refund & Return Policy explains how we handle returns, refunds, replacements and cancellations for orders purchased from our store.

2. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

Perfumes & fragrance products are considered hygiene-sensitive items. Because of this, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges once the product has been delivered and opened, unless the product:

• Is received damaged,
• Is incorrect (different from what was ordered), or
• Is defective on arrival.

Please Note: Continuous, unedited unboxing video evidence is strictly required to process claims. This video serves as the only valid proof for any damaged, missing, or incorrect items.

3. Return Timeframe

To be eligible for a return or refund due to damage or incorrect delivery:

• You must contact our team within 24–48 hours of receiving your order.
• Requests submitted after this timeframe may not be accepted.

4. How to Request a Return & Refund

To initiate a return or refund:

1. Contact our customer support team at admin@akshararoma.com with:
   • Your Order ID
   • Clear uncut unedited unboxing video of the received product (showing damage, defect, or wrong item)
   • A brief description of the issue
2. Our team will review your request and respond with next steps.
3. If approved, you may be asked to send the item back (in original condition) for inspection.

5. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and verified:

• Prepaid Orders: Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
• Cash on Delivery (COD): Refunds will be processed by bank transfer or UPI once verification is complete.

Note: Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong product delivered).

6. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Situations

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:

• Change of mind, personal preference, or if you simply do not like the fragrance.
• Opened or used products where the seal is broken.
• Products damaged due to customer mishandling after delivery.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before shipment. To cancel:

• Contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.
• If the order has already been shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible and will be handled as a return (subject to the above terms).

Refunds for cancelled orders will follow the refund timelines above.
